- Personal injury or death to passengers
- Passenger delay and baggage delay or loss
Aviation disasters, fortunately, remain rare but can have devastating impact. We have the skills and expertise to guide families through the aftermath of such a tragedy. We also appreciate that suffering any accident whilst flying above the earth is frightening and stressful. What is the limitation period to claim compensation for aircraft accident personal injury?
The Montreal Convention allows a 2-year period from the date of the accident to claim compensation for personal injury.
In the UK an accident claim must be underway within three years from the date of an accident, but if the accident is an air accident the time is only two years from the date of the accident.
For this reason, it is essential that you acquire expert legal advice as soon as is possible to avoid any delay in the processing of your claim.
